Een duidelijke en leerzame cursus. De inhoud was goed opgebouwd en afgestemd op mijn niveau. Mijn docent Monique legt alles helder uit, is professioneel , enthousiast en neemt de tijd voor vragen. Dankzij deze cursus heb ik veel nieuwe kennis opgedaan en voel ik mij zekerder in het Nederlands. Ik heb een Nederlandse cursus gevolgd van Language Partners die mij heeft geholpen in het voorbereiden voor de B2 statsexamens (NT2 Programma 2). Nu, een paar dagen nadat ik mijn diploma heb ontvangen, wil ik mijn leraar Pim Bakker bedanken. Ik heb twee individuele cursusen bij hem gevolgd. Pim is een open en toegewijd persoon. Toen we begonnen had ik al een beetje kennis, maar nog veel te weinig praktijkervaring. Mijn hoofddoel was om met echt, levend materiaal te werken. Ik stelde voor dat ik naar artikelen, programma's en podcasts zou zoeken. Dit materiaal was het uitgangspunt voor onze les. Pim besteedde zelf tijd aan het lezen, kijken en luisteren van ‘mijn’ materialen. We hadden ook gesprekken over alledaagse zaken zoals werk, onze huisdieren, politiek enz. Pim stelde ook een aantal onderwerpen voor. Tijdens onze gesprekken corrigeerde Pim mijn fouten en introduceerde nieuwe vocabulaire. Hij toonde altijd betrokkenheid en nieuwsgierigheid. Language Partners has been a wonderful gift that truly helped me improve my Dutch writing and speaking skills. I’m especially grateful for the one-on-one lessons with Pim Bakker. Although I’ve lived in the Netherlands for 20 years, I never felt fully confident speaking or writing in Dutch. Most of the time, I relied on English, as Dutch people are so kind and quick to switch languages to make you feel comfortable. But this also made it harder to practice and grow in Dutch. Working with Pim changed that. Before our lessons, I had low confidence in my Dutch. Pim is not only a fantastic teacher but also a warm, patient person who creates a safe, encouraging learning space. He adjusts to your level, gently corrects mistakes, and is always willing to repeat things until they’re clear. One of my goals was to write more accurately without spending too much time, and to speak more clearly and slowly. I also wanted to improve my pronunciation and reduce my accent. Pim supported me in all of this—even reading texts aloud together, which was fun and very helpful. Our conversations covered everything from work-related topics to mindfulness, trauma healing, inner child work, and Dutch history. Pim was always open, curious, and deeply supportive. When he sees your motivation, he gives even more to help you succeed. I wanted to train together with other students, so I did an open group course Dutch at beginner/intermediate level with Language Partners. They work with small groups (max. 8) and we were with 4 students, so there was a lot of personal attention and enough room for personal questions or cases. I really liked that our course came with a self-pased postcourse, in which you can keep learning after the training has finished. This has been very helpful for me to keep practicing with the things I learned during the training. The contact with Language Partners was good, they are very professional and knowledgeable and advised me well for this course. They start their courses with an intake to determine your starting levels, to make sure you are in the right group or training. I had an excellent experience with Language Partners! The hybrid learning approach was highly effective, and the personalized teaching made a big difference. My instructor, Ferdinand, was amazing—he not only taught the language but also shared fascinating insights about Dutch culture and the landscape. Took a course with STAP funds: the group of students had only 5 lesson of 2 hours each. After that, you need to do a self-study course. It did costs to the government EUR 999,00 (again, for only 5 lessons !!!!!). Quite useless course,  waste of time and public money. I found also the teaching method quite weird: the teacher ask u to study and do the home, then, on the next lesson he/she will check the homework for 2 hours and ask again to study the next module. Ik heb een cursus Duits gevolgd met goed gevolg afgerond. De service was uitstekend, de trainer was echt fijn en heeft me zoveel verder gebracht in het Duits!
