What business language training costs depends mainly on the training format, the number of participants and the language. As an indication: a blended group course of 33 hours (21 hours with a trainer and 12 hours in the online academy) costs from 759 euros per participant for a group of eight, including intake, language assessment, course materials and certificate. For a smaller group the price per participant is higher; individual training and the crash course have their own rates, which you will find below.

We determine the exact price following an intake and a language assessment, because we tailor every course to the participants’ starting level, goal and role.

What determines the price of business language training?
Four things determine what a course ultimately costs.
1. The number of participants. Training costs are per group, not per person. The fuller the group, the lower the price per participant. A group has a maximum of eight participants. When a group pays off and when individual training is the smarter choice, you can read in in-company language training or individual training.
2. The gap between starting level and target level. After the intake and language assessment we know how many hours are needed.
3. The training format. Blended, face-to-face or a crash course.
4. The language. The rates mentioned apply to English, Dutch, German, French and Spanish. For other languages we prepare a tailored quote.

Do you pay VAT on language training?
No. Language Partners BV is registered in the CRKBO Register of Institutions, which exempts our language training from VAT. The amounts on this page are final amounts. With providers that are not CRKBO-registered, 21 percent VAT is added on top of the quoted price. When comparing quotes, always check whether a price includes or excludes VAT.
Why do we quote a starting price rather than a fixed price?
Because training that fits precisely delivers more than training that happens to fit. That is why we start with an intake and a language assessment. From these we determine how many hours are needed, which topics will be covered and how to best divide the groups. Only then do we prepare a quote with a concrete price per participant and per group. Can you get funding for language training?
There are schemes that help employers reduce the cost of a language course, including sector and training funds (O&O-fondsen). In addition, training costs fall under a targeted exemption within the Dutch work-related costs scheme (werkkostenregeling), so you can reimburse them tax-free without using up your discretionary margin. Ask about it when requesting a quote, we are happy to advise.
