Business language training at Language Partners starts at 759 euros per participant. That applies to a blended group course of 33 hours (21 hours with a trainer and 12 hours in the online academy) at the maximum group size of eight participants. With a smaller group the price per participant is higher, around 1,213 euros for four participants. A face-to-face group course of 30 hours, entirely with a trainer, starts at 673.50 euros per participant. An individual blended programme of 33 hours costs 2,615 euros and a crash course 1,399 euros.

Language Partners is registered with the CRKBO, which means no VAT is charged on language training. All amounts on this page are final amounts. We set the definitive price after an intake and a language assessment, because we tailor every programme to the starting level, the goal and the role of the participants.

All amounts are VAT-free. These rates apply to English, Dutch, German, French and Spanish. The exact price follows after an intake and language assessment.

What determines the price of business language training?

Five things determine what a programme ultimately costs.

1. The number of participants. Training costs are per group, not per person. The fuller the group, the lower the price per participant. A group has a maximum of eight participants. When a group pays off and when individual training is the smarter choice is explained in in-company language training or individual training.

2. The gap between starting level and target level. After the language assessment we know how many hours are needed to reach the target level. Sometimes that is one module, sometimes more.

3. The training format. Blended, face-to-face or a crash course.

4. The language. The rates above apply to English, Dutch, German, French and Spanish. For other languages we quote a tailored price, because fewer trainers are available.

5. The location. Do we train at your office, at ours, or at an external venue?

What is included in the price?

For training at your own location we charge a travel allowance per training day. Training at an external venue is also possible; a fee applies depending on the chosen venue.

What happens if more hours turn out to be needed?

One module of blended training is 33 hours. If a participant has a specific target level in mind, the language assessment shows how many modules are needed. We discuss that before the start, so you know what you are committing to. After the intake you receive more specific advice and you decide whether to adjust the number of hours.

Do you pay VAT on language training?

No. Language Partners BV is registered in the CRKBO Register of Institutions, which exempts our language training from VAT. The amounts on this page are final amounts. With providers who are not CRKBO-registered, 21 percent VAT is added on top of the quoted price. When comparing quotes, always check whether a price is inclusive or exclusive of VAT.

Why do we quote a starting price and not a fixed price?

Because training that fits precisely delivers more than training that happens to fit. That is why we start with an intake and a language assessment. From that we determine how many hours are needed, which topics are covered and how best to group participants. Only then do we prepare a quote with a specific price per participant and per group. The amounts on this page show the order of magnitude to expect.

Can you get a subsidy for language training?

There are schemes that help employers lower the cost of a language programme, including sector and training funds. In the Netherlands, training costs also fall under a targeted exemption in the work-related costs scheme (werkkostenregeling), so they can be reimbursed tax-free without using up the free allowance.
