Effectively leading an intercultural team

Opt for a “How to Lead an Intercultural Team?” training, and over 7 weeks, you will focus on knowledge, cognitive skills, and behavioral skills. If you choose a 4 or 8-hour workshop, the emphasis will be on knowledge development and cognitive skills.

Effective communication and various communication styles take center stage in this leadership training. As part of the training, you will analyze your own communication style. Topics include providing feedback, making decisions, and truly listening in an international context.

Knowledge Development:

The first step in this leadership training is acquiring knowledge about international teams. What sets apart a culturally diverse team from a homogeneous one? And what are the advantages of an international team? Another crucial topic in this training is “trust.” Why is trust, especially in a culturally diverse team, so important?

Cognitive Skills:

Now that you understand the benefits of a culturally diverse team and know why trust is crucial in an international team, it’s time for the next step. How, as a leader, do you create a sense of trust within your team? You will work on elements such as intention, respect, and results. How do they influence the sense of trust within your team?

Behavioral Skills:

The final step is applying what you’ve learned in practice. After completing the entire training, you will be able to use various communication styles and elements to build trust within your team.

Cultural Profiler: Discover Your Personal Cultural Profile

All our culture training programs begin with the Cultural Profiler. A questionnaire is used to create your cultural profile, which you can then compare with the average cultural profiles of different countries. This tool provides insight into the differences you might encounter in a multicultural work environment.

Intercultural Leadership Workshop

If you lead a diverse, international, or intercultural team, not every good manager can effectively lead an intercultural team. Intercultural leadership requires special skills and knowledge of intercultural communication. In this interactive workshop, you will learn what a culturally diverse team needs from a manager and how you can provide that. A informative workshop with lasting impact!
